Here it is, August 1st – and I am so not ready for this amazing summer to be over. Not only have I enjoyed the heat, but I love being busy – and the real estate market is super HOT right now.
I have two amazing new listings and a list of summer things I still want to accomplish. Here are just a few:
1. Walk down to Sugah! in the Public Gardens for a hand paddled ice cream.
2. Catch some of the Buskers on the Waterfront.
3. Get an ice cream cone from Cows on the Waterfront.
4. See Batman: The Dark Knight Rises accompanied by a large popcorn with Peanut M&M's poured on top. (Hey, don't knock it until you've tried it.)
5. Eat an entire M&M Cookie Ice Cream Sandwich from Jubilee Junction without sharing it with my kids (or spilling it on my pants).
6. See where I am going with this?
7. Take a golf lesson. The clothes are way too cute now not to take up this sport.
8. Paint my daughter's room Strawberry pink. Or Tiger Tail orange. Or Benjamin Moore Soft Mint. Rumour has it mint and peach are making a decorating comeback.
9. Find a family for my charming new listing on Rockwood Avenue.
10. Celebrate summer in the city with a pistachio gelati or mango sorbetti from Ristorante a Mano in Bishop's Landing.
That's it for now. I'd better get cracking on my list... and back to cool. Happy August!
